Drywall and paint preparation
Removed televisions, shelving and curtain rods can leave more than a few nail holes. We repair localized wall damage, address torn drywall paper and damaged corners, and prepare patches for the agreed finish. Texture and existing paint condition influence how the repair blends; a wall repaint may give a more consistent result than scattered touch-ups.
Doors and entry hardware
A door that drags, a loose knob or a latch that only catches when lifted makes a rental feel unfinished. We assess hinge attachment, alignment and hardware operation before choosing an adjustment or replacement. Closet door guides, stops, deadbolts and worn weatherstripping can be considered alongside the room doors.
Cabinets and drawers
A cabinet does not always need replacing because one hinge has pulled loose. Repair can involve restoring the fastening point, replacing a worn hinge, fitting a compatible slide or securing a loose drawer front. We look at the cabinet box and mounting as well as the visible hardware so the proposed repair suits what is still sound.
Bathroom details
Loose towel bars, missing paper holders, damaged shower curtain rods and worn accessory brackets can be handled together. Attachment matters: replacing a fitting in the same damaged hole may leave the original problem unresolved. Small fixture issues and deteriorated caulk can also be reviewed, with underlying water damage treated separately from a cosmetic refresh.
Blinds, lighting and alarms
Window coverings with damaged brackets, loose curtain rods, missing fixture covers and worn light fittings affect the unit’s presentation and daily use. Suitable smoke and carbon monoxide alarm replacement can also be included. Compatible products and the existing installation determine the work; a repair visit is not a certification of the property’s overall compliance.
Trim and finishing details
Loose baseboard, chipped casing, detached transitions and damaged doorstops can make a freshly cleaned unit look neglected. We handle localized repairs with attention to the adjoining material. Matching the profile and finishing the repaired area matter just as much as attaching the replacement piece.
